CRIOTANK
USE
The Criotank is a special tank designed for separating must from skins. It is equipped with a removable inner grid at the bottom and air vent tubes to prevent crushing during racking with large capacity pumps. Ideal for cryomaceration, carbonic maceration, fermentation of red grapes and tartaric stabilisation, it ensures optimal contact between must and marc at low temperatures.
FEATURES
- Removable Internal Grid: The 45° inclined flat grid facilitates the drainage of cold filtered must, cooled by the conditioning cavities. This grid increases the extraction capacity of the liquid from the skins and facilitates the draining of the marc.
- Mechanical Opening Hatch: The hatch opens upwards to facilitate the draining of the skins, making the operation quick and easy.
- Advanced Thermoconditioning: Equipped with cavities over the entire surface of the cylinder for conditioning the temperature of the crushed grapes, it guarantees efficient cooling during maceration.
- Operational Versatility: Can operate as a cryomacerator, fermenter for carbonic maceration, tank for white must fermentation, cold clarification, tartaric stabilisation and simple storage.
